Tacoma Screw Products, Inc.
Retail Facility, Kent, WA; Headquarters Facility, Tacoma, WA
When the owners of Tacoma Screw Products were searching for a general contractor to build their new retail store in Kent, WPC’s reputation for experience and competence won us the contract. This facility is a 13,500 square foot concrete tilt-up warehouse with retail space and administrative offices.
The next project WPC completed for Tacoma Screw Products was the relocation of their corporate headquarters in Tacoma using the design/build method of delivery. The original facility, located to the west of the new facility, remained in use during the construction phase of the new facility. The new facility is a $3.7 million 65,000 square foot building utilizing soil nailing, reinforced walls, 38 foot high concrete tilt up panels, and large span steel trusses.

Nichirei Foods America Corporation
Fife, Washington
Two projects were completed at this facility: a plant expansion and a Design/Build renovation for the incorporation of a new dry goods storage warehouse. The plant expansion was completed in 135 days during a period of unusually severe weather. WPC successfully faced the additional challenge of interfacing the new and existing equipment. The projects included tilt-up concrete walls, augercast piling, and process equipment.
