TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Concrete Tilt-Up

Two projects were completed at this facility, a plant expansion and a Design/Build renovation for the incorporation of a new dry goods storage warehouse. The plant expansion was completed in 135 days during a period of unusually severe weather. WPC successfully faced the additional challenge of interfacing the new and existing equipment. The projects included tilt-up concrete walls, auger cast piling, and process equipment.

The successful completion of this project earned WPC an “Excellence in Construction” award from the Associated General Contractors of Washington.
