BORDER PATROL SEIZURE VAULT

CLIENT: General Services Administration, Project Management Branch 10PCP

LOCATION: Blaine, WA

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Structural CMU

This Design/Build project was awarded to WPC as a task order under our current IDIQ MATOC with General Services Administration. The 44’ x 50’ building is divided into two areas, and it is used to store illegal items that are seized by border patrol.

The Administration area contains two work stations, a processing area, and collapsible conveyor table. Entrance into the administration area from the exterior is through a an 8’ x 11’ overhead door with a locking gate during seizure processing. The Vault portion is divided into (2) sections: the main area (32’ x 40’), and the hard narcotics cage (8’ x 30’) which is sectioned off with 2” grid chain link fencing accessed by a rolling gate. Each section has its own HVAC system. The building is equipped with a fire suppression system, fire alarm, security alarm system and CCTV system.
