TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Steel Frame with Metal Siding & CMU

This 28,000 square foot Design/Build facility is located in a remote area of northern Idaho. The facility includes a state-of-the-art communications center, new laboratories, shops, offices, and computer spaces. The facility is used by Navy personnel to develop stealth submarine technology.

The nature of this project required existing facilities to remain operational while new facilities were being built on an extremely congested site. All parties worked well in coordinating work efforts, and in the end, a true partnership was developed between the Installation and the WPC Design/Build Team.
