HISTORICAL RENOVATIONS
Pantages Theater
Tacoma, Washington
This project consists of alterations to the lobby and restroom areas in the lobby, balcony, and upper balcony levels of the existing theater building. Scope also includes the selective demolition and replacement of non-load-bearing partitions, doors, windows, stairs, roofing, ceilings, casework, finishes, and related structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work.
Design/Build Chemical-Metallurgical Facility
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington
Originally an un-reinforced brick masonry building, the Navy's Chemical-Metallurgical Facility was constructed in 1896 and is listed on the National Historic Register. WPC's work included complete renovation, seismic upgrade, and rehabilitation of the structure to accommodate offices, laboratories, and testing facilities for the US Navy.
WPC received a Seattle Post Honor Award for this project from the American Military Engineers.

McIntyre Hall Renovations
University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington
This renovation was, in essence, a complete demolition and seismic remodel of the building interior. Construction was completed in only twelve weeks.
WPC's efforts here earned an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated General Contractors of Washington.

1701 Commerce Building
Tacoma, Washington
This building is a 110 year old un-reinforced masonry structure
that was totally gutted and remodeled. The design partners are Boe
Architecture, PCSA Structural Engineers, Danard Electric, and Sunset
Air.
BOE architects, pllc of Tacoma was the design firm for this project. In June of 2006,
this project and BOE architects received recognition for "Outstanding Achievement in
Historic Preservation" from the City of Tacoma and the Tacoma Landmarks Preservation Commission.
