This renovation of a historic Coast Guard residence to office space for NOAA consists of modifying room configurations and refurbishing flooring, repainting, and upgrading mechanical/electrical fixtures. This historic landmark was the former residence of the Coast Guard Office in Charge, and also once temporarily housed former Soviet Leader Mikhail Gorbachev. The finished building will also house an exhibit space for visitors to the National Marine Sanctuary at Crissy Field.
