WPC has embraced design/build as the preferred mode of project delivery over the last 15 years. When owners were first beginning to recognize the merits of aligning design and construction, WPC took the lead in offering this service.
In 1990, WPC received its first true design/build contract for the US Army Corps of Engineers, which was the Criminal Investigation Division Command Field Office at Fort Lewis, WA. Since then, we have worked to develop and streamline the in-house processes necessary to support design/build project delivery. This approach has created a history of more than 50 design/build projects in which WPC has built a strong bond between all the vested parties, and forged lasting partnerships with owners and design teams.

Currently WPC supports the efforts of the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) in promoting the Design/Build delivery process through activity in the DBIA’s Northwest Chapter and national events.
