Current Major Projects

Southwest Fisheries Science Center, La Jolla CA

This $7.5M design-build project removes various facilities and miscellaneous site elements from an eroding 200-foot high coastal bluff at NOAA’s Southwest Fisheries Science Center in La Jolla, CA.  After demolition of facilities, site restoration and environmental restoration will be accomplished.  The scope of work also includes upgrades to Building D at the campus, including seismic retrofit, accessibility upgrades, sprinkler and fire alarm system removal, and exterior railing, concrete repair and balcony waterproofing.  The project is currently in the design stage, with construction scheduled to start in 2012.

Waller Hall HVAC
This project is the final phase to upgrade and replace the entire HVAC system at Waller Hall, Building 2140, Joint Base Lewis-McChord.   Prior projects have replaced the boiler, chill water units, two air handlers, a new VAV system in the Travel Office, and a new DX system in the ID Card Office. This phase will consist of demolition and replacement of the remaining original HVAC and exhaust systems and associated controls to provide complete and useable HVAC system for the entire building.

NOAA Miami
This project is located at the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Southeast Fisheries Science Center (SEFSC), located in Miami, FL. The scope of work consists of facility renovations including the installation of a backflow preventer in the domestic water supply; asbestos abatement in the chilled water pipe insulation; removal and installation of all hot water piping/accessories and insulation; installation of a remote power connection, and chilled water supply and return taps to accommodate a portable chiller.
